Home or favorite faire My Favorite Faire: Ireland, known of old as "Hibernia"... if only in my dreams.
About Me I believe in a Divine Creator, yet still a Seeker. Aspiring modern-day minstrel. Truth-seeker; dream-catcher. Head-in-the-clouds with feet planted firmly on the ground. Teacher assistant, poet, artist, musician, soul-friend, spiritual, encourager.
Music Celtic, classic rock, folk, classical, alternative, modern, new age.
Movies My current favorite is "Random Harvest".
    TV I rarely watch TV.

Dislikes Negative, critical, close-minded people. I guess if I disliked even them, however, then that would make me just as close-minded as they. I just find myself leaving them to their own devices more and more.
Hobbies See all of the above and add "crafts" to that.
Vices Procrastination and certain other creature comforts... chocolate, appletinis...
Virtues I know how to live in the moment, and I'm a loyal friend with a healing heart.

My name is Leigh,  but here I go by the name "Lady Anamchara".  I didn't know sites like this existed--what fun!  I am proud of my [partial!] Celtic heritage and I enjoy playing Celtic folk music on my guitar and pennywhistles.  I'm attempting to learn the bodhran,  but it is proving to be harder than it seems (but I am equal to the challenge!).  I enjoy learning about my Celtic ancestry in my spare time,  and I seek to live this mundane life with a sense of wonder,  love and mirth!

I would be most pleased to make your aquaintance.

You should find "The Drum Circle" group here if you haven't already. Maybe they could offer some input in your quest to master the bodhran. Nice folks. Welcome to Renspace!

    Hello there!

Sorry to take so long to get back to you. I'm afraid I'm suffering through a fairly serious computer failure.

I'm doing just fine, thanks for asking. And yourself?

    ;)
